Rush Green Allotments

Our Story

Rush Green Allotments and Gardens Association is a non-profit organisation set up by local residents for local residents. The Group aims to improve the local area for everyone to benefit for the local community of Rush Green,Romford, Essex.The project will transform five acres of disused land into a nature reserve, seating area and allotments that can be used by both disabled and able bodied residents. Members of the community will help to carry out the work and will have input into the design of the site, benefiting approximately 1,000 people with exciting plans for the area including allotments, some with raised beds and widened paths adapted for people with disabilities, a nature reserve, and a communal garden.
